The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then, sail back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and relax with cool drinks from the three onboard bars. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests onboard. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the magnificent view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel belonging to the renowned Jaz Hotel Group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The water park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden complex and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden complex features a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and beach.

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional sitting/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) have similar amenities to the double rooms Superior, are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm), and feature an additional sitting/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.
Also bookable as Double Deluxe (DD2). In this room, the sitting/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.
Also bookable at an additional charge with pool view (FPD).

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sqm) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer, with the same amenities as the Double Superior, a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs. The Junior Suites have 56 sqm. They offer a variety of beautiful views and are luxuriously furnished.
