The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay is the popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows to the shore in some places, offering excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is approx. 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story accommodation units, stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting lobby with a reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in the Madinat Makadi for a fee.
In the extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, a pool bar, and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.
