Travel information

Combined package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue journey from Esna.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small circular window.

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is situated directly on the beautiful, long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows in places right up to the shore and offers excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can browse for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is approx. 35 km north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story residential units extending along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, a welcoming reception hall with lobby, Fun Pub, and shops and boutiques. A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and an oriental restaurant provide for your culinary needs. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests at Madinat Makadi for a fee.
In the extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, and a pool bar and pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.
