Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., balloon trip (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch and dinner, as well as an overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small circular window.

Single cabin

Located directly on the beautiful, long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay, the popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is waiting for you. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef reaches the shore in places and offers excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental food in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is approx. 35 km to the north.

Amenities

The spacious complex with double-story residential units extending along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, a welcoming reception hall with a lobby and reception, Fun Pub, and shops and boutiques. The main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and an oriental restaurant provide for your culinary needs. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
