Combination product featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers between locations. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. Pre- and post-stays at the hotel are dependent on your arrival and embarkation dates. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Followed by a visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Followed by a visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner at your disposal. Starting Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small gym, which is accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same facilities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

The best time of the year can be experienced in the idyllic surroundings of the Pickalbatros Palace Resort. This spacious holiday resort is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach. Deeper water can be reached comfortably via a jetty. Located only 18 km from the center of Hurghada and about 11 km from the airport, a place of relaxation awaits you here.

Facilities

The holiday can be shaped with a variety of activities: After intense outdoor experiences, the wellness area provides deep relaxation. International delicacies in the various restaurants complete the culinary experience. The appealing upscale hotel consists of a main building and several side buildings, where a total of 621 rooms are distributed. The hotel offers a reception in the luxurious lobby, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including Moroccan and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, and an oriental pub delight the palate. In the generously landscaped outdoor area, there is a large, lagoon-like pool landscape with various pools (1 of which is heated from November to April), a swim-in bar, as well as a separate fun area for children with slides and fountains (1 heated children's pool). On the sun terraces and at the beach, sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are provided free of charge.
