Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and may lack a French balcony and seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.

Spend the best time of your year in the beautiful complex of Albatros Palace Resort. This very generously designed holiday complex is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach with a house reef. Here you can experience the beauty of the Red Sea while diving and snorkeling. Hurghada's center is about 18 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

Facilities

Design your holiday day with numerous activities, then relax in the spa area and enjoy international delicacies in the various restaurants. The attractive hotel of the upscale category consists of a main building and several annexes housing a total of 621 rooms. The hotel offers a luxurious reception area with a spacious lobby, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including Asian and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, and an oriental pub, delight the palate. The generously designed outdoor area features a large, lagoon-style pool landscape with several pools (1 heated from November to April) and a separate fun area for children with slides and fountains (1 heated children's pool).
