Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).

Day 3:

Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Continue journey from Esna.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The range of facilities is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, is located on the first beach line of Hurghada on one of the most popular coastal stretches in the region. The spacious resort is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise water. Together with the two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is located directly on the „ALDAU Art Promenade“ with various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. It is about 10 km to the lively city center of Hurghada, the famous "Sakalla". Hurghada airport is approx. 6 km away.

Facilities

The spacious hotel is equipped with over 400 modern suites, the majority of which have direct sea views. A luxurious, open-plan lobby awaits you with a reception, seating areas, and two lobby bars. In the outdoor area of the resort, there is an extensive pool landscape of over 5,000 m³ with a 400-meter-long “Lazy River” that runs through the complex, as well as a saltwater pool (heated) and a “Jacuzzi Island” (from 16 years). Superior Suite Sea View

The superior suites (DM2/DAM approx. 50 m²) have sea views. The View Suite

Enjoy your breakfast (7 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.), lunch (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.), and dinner (6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. in summer and 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. in winter) buffet-style, with changing themed buffets in the evening, in the main restaurant “Tamarind”.
