Location

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa is located in the heart of El Gouna, idyllically situated on one of the numerous peninsulas with its own exclusive beach, nestled between the Red Sea and a picturesque lagoon. The charming town center of El Gouna, offering a plethora of restaurants and shops, is about 1.5 km away. The picturesque Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive marina with a variety of restaurants and shops, is about 3.5 km away. The resort is located approximately 27 km north of the center of Hurghada and about 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

The spacious Mediterranean-style hotel complex comprises a total of 420 rooms, harmoniously distributed across seven different buildings. The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished lobby welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating areas; safes are available free of charge. Culinary highlights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and three à la carte restaurants offering an exquisite selection of seafood, oriental, and Italian specialties. The offerings are rounded off by a cozy bar, two pool bars, and a souvenir shop. The hotel's own spa area invites guests to relax with six different treatment rooms for wellness experiences. In the extensive outdoor area, a well-maintained garden landscape extends with three pools and a separate children's pool, some of which are heated in winter. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge both by the pool and on the beach.

The modernly furnished double rooms (D) are spacious (approx. 40 sqm) equipped with a king-size bed or two twin beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, coffee and tea maker, minibar, Wi-Fi, safe (free of charge) and terrace with garden view.
Also available for single occupancy (DE) and as type I (DI).

Double Room Deluxe Sea View

The Double Deluxe Sea View rooms (DDM) are equipped like the double rooms, but additionally offer sea view and a balcony or terrace. Sparkling wine upon arrival.
Also available for single occupancy (DM1).

Double Room Deluxe Lagoon View

The Double Deluxe Lagoon View rooms (D2L) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but offer a view of the lagoon and have a balcony or terrace.
Also available for single occupancy (1DL) and as type I (DLI).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 50 sqm) and additionally feature an open sleeping area (maisonette) and a balcony with a view of the lagoon or the pool.

Breakfast buffet at "Palavrion" from 7 am to 10:30 am, late risers' breakfast from 10:30 am to 11 am, lunch from 1 pm to 3 pm and dinner from 6 pm to 10 pm either at "Palavrion" (buffet) or at the à la carte restaurant "Gallery" (Italian) from 6:30 pm to 10 pm.
Afternoon snacks from 12 pm to 4 pm, ice cream from 11 am to 5 pm, and coffee, tea, and cake from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 am to 11 pm at the respective open bar.
The minibar is replenished daily with drinks (snacks are extra).

Dine Around

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels - at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Optional balloon excursion at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks are charged separately.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.
