Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

MS Nile Excellence incl. Excursion

Route

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the High Dam in Aswan. Of course, the excursion packages listed below can still be booked. ***************************************************** Embarkation: Thursday. Depending on the embarkation day, the route may vary. Route: Day 1: Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor. Day 5: Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included. Then we head back to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board. Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and sip cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony. Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with the same amenities as the suites, but possibly without a French balcony and seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

Meals

Full Board

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu. Breakfast includes soft and hot drinks. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet style. Selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks included from 11 AM to 11 PM at the lounge/sundeck bar. The charming town center of El Gouna, offering a wealth of restaurants and shops, is about 1.5 km away. The picturesque Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive marina with a variety of restaurants and shops, is about 3.5 km away. The resort is located about 27 km north of the center of Hurghada and about 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

The spacious hotel complex in Mediterranean style comprises a total of 420 rooms, harmoniously spread across seven different buildings. The modernly furnished double rooms (D) are spacious (approx. 40 sqm) and equipped with a king-size bed or two twin beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, coffee and tea maker, minibar, Wi-Fi, safe (free of charge), and a terrace with garden view. Double Room Deluxe Sea View

Double Room Deluxe Lagoon View

The double rooms deluxe lagoon view (D2L) have the same amenities as the double rooms, with a view of the lagoon or partial sea view, and feature a balcony or terrace. Also bookable for single occupancy (1DL) and as type I (DLI).

Family Room

The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 50 sqm) and additionally feature an open sleeping area (maisonette) and a balcony with a view of the lagoon or the pool.
