Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.

Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue journey from Esna.
Afterwards, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single occupancy cabin

Equipped the same as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. The center of Hurghada is about 17 km away, the airport approx. 11 km.

Amenities

This particularly family-friendly complex has 678 rooms distributed over a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached via the five lifts. The lobby area offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" Asian, "Le Marche" international, "Culina" seafood, "Sidi Ali" oriental cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), diverse bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar", newly opened in summer 2023, delights with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Outside, the pool landscape extends over a total of 9 swimming pools (partially heated in winter), four of them with integrated children's areas and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, which ensure plenty of water fun. The bungalow garden view (BG2) have a size of approx. 30 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiles, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Additionally bookable as Type I room (BGI/DEI) with special price and limited contingent.

The bungalows are identical in size and equipment to the bungalows garden view, but the view may vary (BU/B2A/B1B).

Double superior pool view

The double superior pool view rooms (DSP) are equipped like the bungalow garden view, but larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annexes.

The double rooms sea view (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, additionally feature a sea view, and are located in the main building.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, are distributed throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited contingent.

Suite sea view

The suites sea view (S2M) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living room/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double room deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a view of the garden (DD2/DD3). Optionally also bookable without special view (DDA), with pool view and slightly smaller at approx. 24 m² (DPB), towards the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or with sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
