Travel information

Combination package consisting of an MS Lady Carol Nile cruise and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may change depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

Economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own lagoon sandy beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Spend a great family holiday and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. It is approx. 18 km to the center (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A saltwater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully landscaped gardens to the reception building and is accessible by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
In the outdoor area, there are three swimming pools with integrated children's area (two can be heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. A special highlight for families is the Aqua Park, which opened in summer 2026. With a total of 14 water slides, it offers varied bathing fun for young and old. Various fast slides are available for teenagers and adults, while younger guests can enjoy a separate Aqua Park with age-appropriate water attractions. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and beach. If required, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked additionally.

Double Superior Lagoon view "Chillout"

The family rooms (DF2) with the same equipment as double rooms are approx. 60 m² and feature 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, as well as a balcony or terrace.

Double room Deluxe (HRGA07)

The Double rooms Deluxe correspond to the double rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea view (HRGA07)

The suites have a size of approx. 65 m² and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general equipment of the suites includes Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, as well as balcony or terrace (S2M).

Breakfast from 7-10 a.m., lunch from 12:30-2:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in buffet form. Late dinner from 10-11 p.m. Lunch snacks from 12-5 p.m. Coffee, pastries, and cakes from 10 a.m. to midnight. Ice cream for children from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
