Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always lasts seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon trip (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continuing journey from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.

Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant with delicious dishes caters to your culinary needs. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Saver Cabins

The saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own lagoon sandy beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Spend a great family vacation and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The city center is about 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is about 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A seawater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully landscaped garden area to the reception building and can be navigated by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, Oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features three swimming pools with integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. A brand new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aquapark with 18 different slides for all ages (11 for adults and 7 for children), adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your vacation. The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are approx. 60m² in size, and have 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace.

Double Deluxe Room (HRGA07)

The Double Deluxe rooms correspond to the double rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea View (HRGA07)

The suites have a size of approx. 65m² and include a living area and a separate bedroom. The general amenities of the suites include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace (S2M).
