Combination package featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most economical available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the departure flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to the West Bank to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).

Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Indulge yourself in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sundeck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
The Royal Suites also feature a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with its own hotel beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach out onto the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world by snorkeling from there. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Facilities

Built in the Nubian village style, the resort delights with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and welcoming reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the property. In the outdoor area, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for younger guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water games. Loungers, beach towels, and parasols are provided free of charge at the pools and at the hotel's own beach. A main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars, take care of culinary well-being.

Comfort Double Room (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle as well as coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also bookable for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms feature pool/garden or lagoon views. Also bookable for single use (PR1).

The cozy family rooms have the same equipment features as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a selection of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) with similar amenities to the Superior double rooms. The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The "Sunny Restaurant" main restaurant offers breakfast (7-10:00), lunch (12-14:30), and dinner (18:30-21:00) in buffet form. Additionally, the restaurant offers teatime with various snacks from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 a.m. in buffet form), lunch (11 a.m.-3 p.m. à la carte for a fee), as well as in the evening (6-9 p.m. à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at lunchtime (12-3 p.m. à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 p.m. à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of different specialties (6:30-9 p.m. à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot drinks, as well as local alcoholic beverages are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities. The All-Inclusive offer is valid daily until midnight.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half-board, full-board, or All-Inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – with no additional costs for the meal (drinks excluded).
Depending on the duration of the stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
