Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then sail back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues sailing to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Additionally, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting from winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool, enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approximately 24 sqm in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also feature a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approximately 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller than the suites (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise identical amenities, and may lack a French balcony and seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter-long lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15-minute ride) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty extends from Zeytouna Beach into the Red Sea, offering a chance to explore the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is about 350 meters away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away.

The resort, built in a Nubian village style, impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. Outdoors, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water games. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For your culinary needs, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single occupancy (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) are renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, an electric kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. Also bookable for 3 people (TDS) and for single occupancy (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (1-3 PM), and dinner (6-9 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at midday (12-3 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
