Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three onboard bars. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise identical amenities to the suites and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and seating area.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a private beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15-minute ride) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends into the Red Sea, offering a fascinating underwater world for snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is about 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away.

Built in a Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water games. Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. The main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars, cater to your culinary needs.

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle with coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also bookable for single occupancy (DK1).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also bookable for single occupancy (PR1).

The comfortable family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Also available for 3 people (TDS) and for single occupancy (DSE).

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) with similar amenities to the Double Room Superior. The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30-9 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Several specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet style), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at midday (12-3 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are served to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities. The all-inclusive offer is valid daily until midnight.

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for stays of five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for stays of eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
