Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, which are spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your culinary enjoyment. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a hotel-owned beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach out onto the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling from there. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. The distance to Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers.

Facilities

Built in the Nubian village style, the resort inspires with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms, which are distributed over several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting lobby area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. Outside, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which can be heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for younger guests, three of which can be heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water features. Sun loungers, bath towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and at the hotel's own beach. A main restaurant, four different specialty restaurants, and various bars ensure your culinary well-being.

Comfort Double Room (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been completely renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle and coffee/tea-making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Premium Room (PR2)

Equipped with the same amenities as the double rooms but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms feature views of the pool/garden or lagoon. Also bookable for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same equipment features as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Also bookable for 3 people (TDS) and for single use (DSE).

With similar features to the Superior double rooms, these rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²). The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7:00 AM–10:00 AM), lunch (12:00 PM–2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM–9:00 PM) in buffet style. In addition, the restaurant offers tea time with various snacks from 4 PM–5 PM. Furthermore, various specialty restaurants are available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30 AM–11:00 AM buffet style), lunch (11:00 AM–3:00 PM à la carte for a fee), and evening (6:00 PM–9:00 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12:00 PM–3:00 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30 PM–9:00 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of different specialties (6:30 PM–9:00 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or All Inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – entirely without additional costs for the food (excluding drinks).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights.
