Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the Aswan High Dam.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then returning to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship sails to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then sails to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting in winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The comfortably furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise feature the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z), with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot drinks. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person are included.

The Sheraton Miramar Resort, built in the Nubian style, invites you to rest and relaxation. The beautiful hotel complex extends over nine small islands, where the various buildings of the hotel are distributed. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately evokes a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the town center of El Gouna with various shops, restaurants, and bars. For a fee, you can use the regularly operating boat and bus shuttle. Hurghada airport is approx. 40 km away.

Designed by the famous architect Michael Graves, this 339-room resort fascinates with its colorful combination of Arabic and Nubian style as well as its location in the middle of a beautiful, exotic garden complex. Double room Superior pool or lagoon view

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) have been freshly renovated and have a size of approx. 38 m². The rooms feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD-TV, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, safe, and balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's own lagoon. Also bookable as a double room for single use (DEU).

Double room Premium side sea view

The rooms (P2D) feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD-TV, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, safe, and balcony or terrace. The rooms have a side sea view and are renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe room

The freshly renovated Beachfront Deluxe rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but are located in the first beach row. Also bookable for single use (BF1).

Family room

The family rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

Suite Superior (HRGA16)

The Suite Superior (SU2) are similar in features to the Superior double rooms, but do not have a walk-in shower and are larger at approx. 42m².
Also bookable for single use (SU1).

Junior suite

The junior suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms, but is more spacious (approx. 52 m²) and with an open living area.

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers you breakfast (7-10:30 a.m.) and dinner (6:30-10 p.m.), both buffet style. Lunch is offered in the "Miramar" or the "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the bar currently open. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily refilling of soft drinks).
ATTENTION: When booking Ultra All Inclusive, the Club Package is not included. It is mandatory to book the meals according to the program so that the Club Package is included.
