Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

MS Nile Excellence incl. Excursion

Route Overview

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan. Of course, the excursion packages listed below can still be booked. ***************************************************** Embarkation: Thursday. Depending on the embarkation day, the route may vary. Route: Day 1: Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor. Day 2: A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally). In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board. In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board. Day 3: Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning. Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board. Day 4: In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3). Afterwards, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking views of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/toilet, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony. Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. On the balcony of the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) than the suites, with otherwise the same amenities, possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Meals

Full Board

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served as a buffet or set menu. Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot beverages. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet style. Selected national alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks included from 11 AM to 11 PM at the lounge/sundeck bar. Afternoon coffee, tea, and pastries during the journey. Daily replenishment of the minibar with 2 small bottles of water. Once a week, the minibar will be stocked with soft drinks. Built in Nubian style, the Sheraton Miramar Resort invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful hotel complex extends over nine small islands, where the various hotel buildings are spread out. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately evokes a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the center of El Gouna with its various shops, restaurants, and bars. For a fee, you can use the regularly running boat and bus shuttle. The airport in Hurghada is approx. 40 km away.

Double Room Superior with Pool or Lagoon View

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) have been freshly renovated and are approx. 38 sqm. The rooms have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's lagoon. Also bookable as a double room for single occupancy (DEU). (Available under HRGA16 as SL2/SL1 or as Beachfront (BF2/BF1)).

Double Room Premium with Partial Sea View

The rooms (P2D) have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, safe, and balcony or terrace. The rooms have a partial sea view and have been renovated. (Also bookable under HRGA16 with PDZ/PSD.)

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The freshly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located in the first row of the beach. Also bookable for single occupancy (BF1).

The Family Rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

Suite Superior (HRGA16)

The Suite Superior (SU2) are similar in amenities to the Double Rooms Superior, but do not have a walk-in shower and are larger at approx. 42 sqm. Also bookable for single occupancy (SU1).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms, but is more spacious (approx. 52 sqm) and has an open living area. Also bookable for single occupancy (JS1).

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers breakfast (7-10:30 AM) and dinner (6 PM-9:30 PM) in buffet style. Lunch is served in the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the respective open bar. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily replenishment of soft drinks). ATTENTION: When booking Ultra All Inclusive, the Club Package is not included. The meals as per the program must be booked for the Club Package to be included.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded). Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
