Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Aswan Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast pack included.

Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, free time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while sailing downstream to Luxor.
Then opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship has a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites spread across three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship has a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers a fitness area to stay fit. The pool on the sundeck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Nile. Bath towels are provided free of charge to guests.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle and upper decks.
Also available for single occupancy (EEX).

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but are larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony overlooking the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the Main Deck, Middle Deck and Upper Deck.
Also available for single occupancy (S1).

Economy Cabin

With the same amenities as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar amenities to the Executive Cabin and also have a balcony of approx. 4 m². They also feature a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort

Location

The hotel "Pickalbatros Aqua Park", very popular with families, is located only about 700m from the hotel's own beach section. You can reach this after a short walk through the grounds of the sister hotel "Beach Albatros" (HRG013) or by free shuttle. The hotel is separated from "Beach Albatros" by a road. Hurghada Airport is about 10 km away, and it takes about 20 minutes to drive to Hurghada Downtown.

The particularly family-friendly resort has 296 rooms spread across the main building and four 3-story outbuildings. In addition to two restaurants in the hotel (Mediterranean cuisine, Asian cuisine) and various bars, other restaurants from the sister hotels can also be used. The hotel also offers a spacious lobby with a lobby bar, reception and ATM, as well as various shops in front of the hotel and a hairdresser. In the outdoor area, there is an amphitheater, 5 swimming pools (one of which is heated, one children's pool), an Olympic pool at the sister hotel Pickalbatros Aqua Vista (for a fee) and the Aqua Park with 9 water slides for adults. There are 16 more slides for children at "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu" which can also be used. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and on the beach, towels only at the pool. There is a beach bar on the beach, which is also included. If needed, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked additionally.
For guests of "Pickalbatros Aqua Park", "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu" and "Pickalbatros Aqua Vista", the newly opened "Midway-Street" with various amusement park attractions is also available.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) are approx. 48 m² in size, consist of 2 bedrooms and have a balcony or terrace.
Also available with pool view (FP2).

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7-10 am, late riser breakfast until 11 am, lunch buffet from 12:30-2:30 pm, dinner in 2 restaurants (main restaurant and Asian restaurant) from 6-9 pm. Optionally also in one of the two restaurants "Tagine" and "Soprano" at the sister hotels Pickalbatros Aqua Blu and Pickalbatros Aqua Vista.
