Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning at 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, can only be booked locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue toward Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), a breakfast package is included.

Continue to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3).

Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your culinary well-being. The best time of the year can be experienced in the idyllic grounds of the Pickalbatros Palace Resort. This spacious holiday resort is located directly on its own sandy beach. Deep water can be reached comfortably via a jetty. Only 18 km from the center of Hurghada and about 11 km from the airport, a place of relaxation awaits you here.

The holiday day can be shaped with a variety of activities: After intense experiences outdoors, the wellness area provides the deepest relaxation. International delicacies in the various restaurants round off the culinary experience. The attractive upscale hotel consists of a main building and several annexes, in which the total of 621 rooms are distributed. In the luxurious lobby, the hotel offers a reception with a spacious lounge, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including Moroccan and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, as well as an oriental pub, will delight your palate. In the spacious outdoor area, there is a large, lagoon-like pool landscape with various pools (1 of which is heated from November to April), a swim-up bar, as well as a separate fun area for children with slides and fountains (1 heatable children's pool). Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are provided free of charge on the sun terraces and the beach.
