Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay at the hotel before and after the cruise depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Then visit to the West Bank including the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then cruise onwards to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then cruise onwards to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Cruise towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4:
After breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterwards, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Cruise onwards to Esna.
Day 6:
After breakfast, visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, which are spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your culinary well-being. Particularly popular with regular guests, the Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel is located in the first beach row of Hurghada on one of the most popular coastal sections of the region. The spacious resort is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise water. Together with the two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is located directly on the „ALDAU Art Promenade“ with various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. The lively town center of Hurghada, the famous "Sakalla", is about 10 km away. Hurghada airport is approximately 6 km away.

The schauinsland-reisen-Original rooms (DLM), with the same facilities as the Superior Suite Sea View, are guaranteed to be located on the 4th floor, thus offering a breathtaking view of the sea.
Optionally also bookable on the 5th floor (DDM).

Family Suite Sea View

The Family Suites (F2M/FA2) feature the same facilities as the Superior Suites but are larger (approx. 55 m²) with a sofa bed, limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, and a sea view.

The View Suite

The View Suite (S2) is approx. 115 m² in size and equipped with an open bathroom with shower and whirlpool, separate WC, a separate guest WC, RFID door lock, an open living area, one bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. The suites have a sea view. The rooms are adults-only.

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2DS), consisting of one large room, are approx. 59 m² and additionally feature a dining table, dressing area, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, espresso machine, and a balcony with sun loungers and a sea view.

The Deluxe Suites (SDM) are approx. 142 m² and feature a bedroom and a separate living area. In addition, the Deluxe Suites have a dressing area and two balconies, each with a table and two chairs, from which you have a beautiful view of the Red Sea.

Enjoy your breakfast (07:00-10:30 a.m.), lunch (01:00-04:00 p.m.), and dinner (06:30-10:00 p.m. in summer and 06:00-10:00 p.m. in winter) in buffet form, with changing themed buffets in the evening, in the main restaurant "Tamarind".
