Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date is always selected.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stays at the hotel depend on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride can be booked in the morning at 5 a.m. (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3), Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3), and the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board. Then, proceed to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, proceed to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited (1, 2, 3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board.

Day 4:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.

Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2, 3); a breakfast box is included.

Location

Spend a wonderful vacation with a direct beach location at the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on a fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

This particularly family-friendly resort features 678 rooms distributed across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors are comfortably accessible via five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" Asian, "Le Marche" international, "Culina" seafood, "Sidi Ali" oriental cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape extends over a total of 9 swimming pools (some heatable in winter), four of which have an integrated children's area and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalows Garden View, but are larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same equipment as the Bungalows Garden View, additionally feature a sea view, and are located in the main building.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace with a garden view (DD2/DD3). Optionally bookable without a specific view (DDA), with pool view (approx. 24 m², DPB, slightly smaller), towards the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
