Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, proceed to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Then, an opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, an opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
Day 8:
Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary well-being. This is complemented by a reading corner and a lounge bar. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own lagoon sandy beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Spend a great family holiday and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The center is about 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is about 10 km away.

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A sea water lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully designed garden to the reception building and can be navigated by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, Oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features three swimming pools with an integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), a sun terrace, and a pool bar. A brand new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aqua park with 18 different slides for adults and children (11 for adults and 7 for children), adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your holiday. Double Superior Lagoon View "Chillout"

The rooms (SL2) are equipped like the double rooms, but are larger (approx. 45 m²) and have a lagoon view. On the lawn in front of the residential building, there are Bali beds, offering an exclusive chill-out option for guests in these rooms. Also bookable for single use (SL1).

Double Room Superior Sea View

The Double Rooms Superior Sea View (DMU) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior Pool View, but with a sea view.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA07)

The Double Rooms Deluxe are equivalent to the Double Rooms and are available with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea View (HRGA07)

The suites are approximately 65m² in size and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general amenities of the suites include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace (S2M).
