Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1, 2, 3).

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole window.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sub-areas "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), opened its doors for the first time in December 2023. The resort, designed in an Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam and is situated on a beautiful stretch of coast with a bay in front of it with crystal clear water in the first beach row. Coral reefs invite you to snorkel (water shoes recommended). Marsa Alam airport is about 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

This Schauinsland-Reisen Original hotel was built in a classy Bohemian style, combined with modern Arabic accents, and thus offers a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sub-areas, the "True Beach Resort", which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adult-only area, which can be booked from 16 years of age. The complex has a total of 158 rooms, which are distributed between both sub-areas, and offers a spacious reception area with reception as well as a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area has two spacious pools as well as a whirlpool that is integrated into the main pool (one of which can be heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water games are located next to the miniclub and the adjacent playground with sun sails. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form; in addition, the fish restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is included once per stay. The three à-la-carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the village area and are for a fee (adults only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex has a pool bar "Maya", a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater that offers various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, as well as various shops and a hairdresser and spa area. The village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that lead through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool that offers a view of the crystal clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, a pool bar "Scarab Bar" awaits you, as well as the oriental restaurant "El Tawla" and a chaise lounge. Two further bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" bar directly on the beach, are available in the village area. Guests of the village area may use both sub-areas, but not vice versa. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

The comfortably furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked upon arrival with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water; water is replenished daily), kettle, and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 m² in size. Also bookable as Type I (DSI) with identical equipment, limited quota, and special price. Optionally bookable for single use (DEU). Upgrade Double Room Superior Sea View

The room (UMB) has the same equipment features as the Double Room Superior Sea View and additionally offers the following amenities:
