Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be used.

Notice

The travel offer you selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary well-being. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

True Beach Resort

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and the True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arabic boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a fantastic stretch of coastline with a bay in front featuring crystal-clear water, directly on the beachfront. Coral reefs offshore invite snorkeling (water shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen Original Hotel has been built in an elegant Bohemian style combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444) as an adults-only area, bookable for ages 16 and above. The complex has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sections, offering a spacious reception area with a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area features two generous pools and a jacuzzi integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chillout areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water features are located next to the mini club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style; additionally, the beachfront fish restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex has a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater offering various evening entertainment programs, a beach bar, and several shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run throughout the complex, as well as an infinity pool offering views of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a pool bar "Scarab Bar," the oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and a chaise lounge. Two further bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar, are located directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sections, but not vice versa. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) feature a bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water on arrival, water refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 m² in size. Upgrade Superior Double Room Sea View

The room (UMB) features the same amenities as the Superior Double Room Sea View, plus the following:
