Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty makes it easier to enter deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites, spread across various buildings. The complex has a reception with seating and an associated outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), and an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico", which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and as an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available for guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. The holiday resort also has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The modernly furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 40 sqm) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, seating area and balcony.

The family rooms (2FA) have bunk beds and the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms.

Family Suite

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

The Executive Suites are larger (approx. 70 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with a separate shower, a seating area and a terrace.

Junior Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (SUJ, approx. 60 sqm). Additionally, these rooms have access to the communal swim-up pool. Also available for single use (SUE).

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have a terrace with direct access to the shared pool, with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located in close proximity to the beach.
Also available with direct access to a private pool for an extra charge (BSD).

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 70 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have a balcony with a jacuzzi and a sea view, in addition to otherwise similar amenities.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea and various freshly squeezed juices (7-10:30 am and late riser breakfast 10:30-11 am on request), lunch (1-3 pm) and dinner (7-10 pm) in buffet form. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also included without restriction (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7-10:30 am à la carte breakfast, 12:30-5 pm international cuisine, 7-10 pm Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku", which is open from 6:30-10 pm and offers Asian cuisine. Coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 pm to 5 pm at the "Indigo Bar". A midnight snack is available for guests from 11 pm to 1 am in the Boscage Restaurant. Local non-alcoholic drinks are available around the clock at one of the seven different bars (one of the bars is adults only). Local alcoholic drinks are included from 10 am to midnight.

Sports Included

An indoor fitness studio with various CrossFit equipment is available to guests free of charge from 8 am to 8 pm. The minimum age for the fitness studio is 16 years. Also a tennis court (on request subject to availability, floodlights for a fee), beach volleyball, darts, boccia, mini-golf, sunset meditation, water aerobics and aerobics.

Children's Program

For the little vacationers, the SUNRISE Kids Planet Club is available (kids club multilingual, including German). It looks after children aged 3-12 and is open every day of the week. The resort also has a children's pool, a mini-disco, and a separate area in the buffet restaurant. Babysitter service is available on request for a fee.

Wellness

The spa area (10 am to 7 pm) has a sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, and Turkish bath, and also offers guests various massages. The spa area is accessible for a fee and for guests aged 16 and over. Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category.
