Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay before and after the cruise in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.

In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The facilities are complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are furnished like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same amenities as the standard cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea with beach and hotel buildings on the horizon under blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on a beautiful, private sandy lagoon beach, making it perfect for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates access to deeper water. Marsa Alam airport is about 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

This Schauinsland-Reisen-Original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites distributed across several buildings. The property features a reception with seating and an adjoining outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adults-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island and kids pool (all pools can be heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à-la-carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico", which serves as an international à-la-carte restaurant during the day and as an Italian à-la-carte restaurant in the evening. All à-la-carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults-only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a gym, a beauty salon, a mini-club, as well as various shops.

The rooms (2FS) have the same features as the superior double rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 m²) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds), a bathroom with shower, and a terrace.

Same amenities as the superior double rooms, but more spacious (JS2, approx. 55 m²) and with a living area.

The executive suites are larger (ES2, approx. 70 m²) with similar amenities to the superior double rooms. The rooms feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed, dressing room, bathroom with a separate shower, seating area, and terrace.

Deluxe beach front

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 m² and have a terrace, with amenities similar to the double rooms. The rooms are located in the immediate vicinity of the beach and feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a lounge area.

Anjum Jacuzzi suite sea view

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 m² and consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a lounge area. In addition to similar amenities, these rooms also feature a balcony with a Jacuzzi and a view of the sea.

The "Boscage" main restaurant offers breakfast including coffee and tea as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (1 PM - 3 PM), and dinner (7 PM - 10 PM) in buffet form. Upon request, the following à-la-carte restaurants are also fully included for you (subject to availability and with prior reservation): "Basilico" (12:30 PM - 5 PM international cuisine, 7 PM - 10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku", which is open from 6:30 PM to 10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. Coffee, tea, and cake are offered daily at the "Indigo Bar" from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage restaurant.
