Travel information

Combination product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon trip (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then, continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, an opportunity to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the Iberotel Costa Mares is part of the renowned JAZ Hotel Group. The coral reef in front offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the most famous spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment facilities is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

Facilities

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026 Adults Only from 16 years!) has a total of 208 rooms distributed in the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a gym, various shops, and a spa area. For culinary delights, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants.
