Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the boarding day. All transfers between airport, hotel and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon trip (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant with delicious dishes caters to your culinary needs. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sq m and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Saver Cabins

The saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sq m) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend a fantastic family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the sandy beach, which is approximately 400 meters away and gently slopes into the sea. Here, you can be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving. If needed, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday accommodation is located in the newer part of Hurghada, on the modern promenade with oriental cafes, bars, and international pubs, as well as small shops. The center of Hurghada with the well-known "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 5 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and designed for families, with 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The Family Suites (2FS/ASF) have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 55 sq m) and feature a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with twin beds for children. The master bedroom is separated from the sleeping area and hallway by a door. Wi-Fi access is free for 3 devices. Also bookable as a Suite (SA).

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 sq m) have the same amenities as the Family Suites and feature a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. The master bedroom has a door to the living and sleeping area with two sofa beds. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free. Also bookable as a Junior Suite (JSA).

Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 sq m) consists of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms.

Super Saver Room

Standard Double Room

The Double Rooms (DA) have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms, are slightly smaller (approx. 24 sq m), but are renovated in a modern style. The rooms do not have a balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

The main restaurant "Magic Flavors" offers breakfast (7 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (1 PM - 3 PM), and dinner (6 PM - 9:30 PM) in buffet style with themed nights and live cooking stations. Additionally, the following à la carte restaurants are available: The "Magic Orient Restaurant" offers oriental dinner. The "Magic Palappa Restaurant" offers Italian cuisine for breakfast (8 AM - 10:30 AM), late breakfast (10:30 AM - 12 PM), lunch (1 PM - 4 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9 PM). The "Magic Sky Restaurant" offers dinner (6:30 PM - 9 PM) on the rooftop. All mentioned restaurants are included once per week (with a minimum stay of 5 nights) and require reservation.
