Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The facilities are complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small circular window.

Single occupancy cabin

With the same amenities as the standard cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Built in the Moroccan style, the hotel of the renowned JAZ Hotel Group is located directly on the private, long sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay, with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The aquapark is approx. 3 km away from the hotel.

Facilities

The JAZ Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with an inviting reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. Culinary variety is provided by the show cooking in the hotel restaurant and the “Dine Around” concept of the Souk Makadi.
In the beautifully and spacious garden, you will find the pool landscape with two swimming pools (one can be heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. In addition, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, pads, parasols, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Superior double rooms

The friendly furnished Superior double rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (free daily replenishment), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or a terrace. One large bottle of water in the room daily (free of charge).
Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU), or for single use (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Superior family suite

Superior suite

The Superior suites (SU2) have similar amenities to the Superior double rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 m²), and feature an additional seating/sleeping area, which is separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.
Also bookable as Deluxe double room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Deluxe family room

The Deluxe family rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Superior family rooms. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

The spacious (approx. 56 m²) and elegant junior suites (J2S), with the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, offer a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 televisions. The junior suites are 56 m² in size. They offer a variety of magnificent views and are luxuriously furnished.
