Travel information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Boarding will always be the earliest possible.

Arrival and boarding. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional hot air balloon trip (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Further journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Saver Cabins

The saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Cabin for 1 person

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The hotel, built in Moroccan style by the renowned JAZ Hotel Group, is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay, with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars, which invite you to stroll. The water park is about 3 km from the hotel.

Facilities

Nestled in beautiful gardens, the JAZ Makadina has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept at Souk Makadi ensures culinary variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area features a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The friendly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily complimentary refill), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. A large bottle of water is provided daily in the room (free of charge).
Also available as single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME) with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU).
Single occupancy is also available as type B (DEB) at a special price and limited availability.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and have an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain.

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain.
Also available as Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.
