Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced room category available. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the itinerary may change.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak Temple, and the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterward, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

Economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

Same facilities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Located directly on a long, very shallow pebbly/sandy beach on the Red Sea, the exclusive JAZ Aquamarine Resort is found in the Egyptian holiday resort of Hurghada. Families in particular will find everything they need here. The perfect mix of relaxation and leisure options, as well as plenty of water fun, leave nothing to be desired and guarantee an unforgettable holiday. The center of Hurghada is approx. 20 km away. The airport is approx. 17 km away.

Facilities

This 5-star hotel of the "JAZ" chain offers a relaxing holiday for your whole family. The resort features 1001 rooms and suites spread throughout the complex. Hotel facilities include a spacious lobby with reception, a hair salon, and a wellness area (for a fee). Culinary needs are met by two main restaurants, which spoil you with delicious international dishes (Note: The 2nd main restaurant "Four Corners" may be partially closed depending on hotel occupancy) and seven à la carte restaurants with dishes from Italian cuisine (Nino's), delicacies from the Middle East (Sofra), Asian (Makai Tukai), as well as Indian dishes (Amaya), plus a burger restaurant (Burger Bay) and a grill restaurant (reservation required; two specific restaurants are included per week, minimum stay 7 Days). The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Deluxe family room

The Deluxe family rooms (2DF), with otherwise the same facilities as the Superior doubles, are more spacious (approx. 45 m²) and feature a queen-size bed as well as 2 sofa beds (180 x 80 cm) in a separated sleeping area in the entrance.
