Product information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to boarding is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be used.

Day 1:
Arrival and boarding. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional hot air balloon trip (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then the opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continued journey to Esna and visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet style. Drinks at a charge.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. The cabins are also available for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

These cabins have the same furnishings as the standard cabins but are slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and have only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own sandy lagoon beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Enjoy a great family holiday and experience Egyptian hospitality. The city center is about 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away.

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A seawater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully landscaped garden to the reception building and can be navigated by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, Oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser. In the outdoor area, there are three swimming pools with an integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), a sun terrace, and a pool bar. A brand-new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aquapark with 18 different slides for all ages (11 for adults and 7 for children), adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your vacation. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach. Unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked additionally.

Double Superior Lagoon View "Chillout"

The rooms (SL2) are equipped like the double rooms but are larger (approx. 45 sqm) and have a lagoon view. On the lawn in front of the residential building, there are Balinese beds, offering an exclusive chill-out area for guests in these rooms.

Double Superior Sea View

The Double Superior Sea View rooms (DMU) have the same amenities as the Double Superior Pool View rooms, but with a sea view. Also available for single use (UME) at an additional charge. (Also bookable under HRGA07)

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) offer the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 40-45 sqm) and have a pool view. Also available for single use (ESP) at an additional charge. (Also bookable under HRGA07)

Family Room Pool View
