MS Nile Excellence incl. Excursion

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, but possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Combination package of a Nile cruise on MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next available boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast pack included.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

Cook's Club El Gouna

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a lovely saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. It is only a few minutes' walk to the small "Downtown" center with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops (also reachable by a hand-operated ferry). Various shopping facilities are also located in the vicinity. Guests have free access to the 700m away, beautiful sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island". A approx. 400m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads from the beach over the reef into deeper waters. From here, explore the breathtaking coral reef while snorkeling. The resort is located about 25 km north of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is about 40 km away.

Facilities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable from 16 years old) impresses with a very special style and consists of a three-story main building and several outbuildings, which house a total of 144 elegantly furnished rooms. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with a reception. The stylish restaurant "La Cantina", including an outdoor terrace with a view of the lagoon, features a live cooking station and serves delicious specialties. In the tastefully designed garden complex, there is an outdoor platform with wooden fitness equipment and a swimming pool (heated in winter) with a pool bar and sun terrace.
