Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (bookable optionally on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Felucca ride on the Nile in the afternoon (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, but possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Superior Double Room Side Sea View

The Superior Double Rooms with side sea view (DSS) have queen or twin-size beds, air conditioning, a bathroom with toilet and shower, hairdryer, TV, and a safe. Additionally, the rooms offer a side sea view.
Also bookable at an additional charge with frontal sea view (FUM) or with side sea and pool view (DMU).
Also available for single occupancy (DE1/EUM/UME).

Superior Double Room Front Sea View Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer a sea view. The rooms offer frontal sea views and are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel.

Superior Double Room Grand Side Sea View

The Superior Rooms Type B (DSB) are approx. 50 sqm and feature a queen-size bed and a seating area that can be converted into a bed. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom, air conditioning, safe, minibar (water refilled daily. Everything else for a fee), and a hairdryer. This room type can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. Family Room Deluxe Pool and Sea View

The Family Rooms Deluxe (F2D) are approx. 60 sqm and feature either a king-size bed or two single beds. These rooms are larger and have two rooms, a main bedroom and a seating area that can be converted into beds, with bathrooms with a rain shower and separate toilet and hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes and slippers. There is also a large separate dressing room with large mirrors. A smart TV with cable/satellite TV channels, two direct-dial telephones, and a safe are also available in the room. Free tea and coffee making facilities and a high-speed internet connection. Minibar (water, daily refill included, other items for a fee). Balcony or terrace.

Executive Suite Private Swim Up Pool

The Executive Suites (X2S) have the same amenities as the Superior rooms with side sea view, but are larger (approx. 57 sqm), have a bathtub and shower in the bathroom, and feature a private swim-up pool. The minibar is refilled daily with water free of charge (everything else for a fee), and an espresso machine is available for an additional charge.
