Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon flight is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon Felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterward, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be spoiled with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same equipment as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same equipment as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²), potentially without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² balcony/terrace) Jacuzzi suites (S2J) have a couple's Jacuzzi, shower, WC, vanity mirror, air conditioning, safe, minibar (daily refill with water, juice, beer, soft drinks), smart TV with German channels, coffee and tea making machine, and a swing chair on the terrace.

Pure Standard Suite Jacuzzi

The approx. 27 m² Pure Standard Suites (SAJ) have similar equipment elements to the Jacuzzi suites but are slightly smaller. Some suites have a small balcony with visual privacy screen or terrace and face the land side.

The swim-up suites (2SU) have similar equipment to the Jacuzzi suites but feature direct access to the terrace pool (this is heated in winter) and are more spacious with a size of approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² terrace).

Penthouse

The penthouse suites (P2) located on the upper floors are equipped like the Jacuzzi suites but are more spacious with approx. 107 m² (incl. 16 m² balcony), with their own living room, private pool (heated in winter), and a breathtaking view over the Red Sea.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) are approx. 27m² and equipped with shower/WC, espresso machine, TV, Wi-Fi, vanity mirror, safe. The rooms do not have a Jacuzzi, have no balcony, and face the land side.
