Location

Enjoy a relaxing holiday and discover Egyptian hospitality at the "Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort". This hotel, designed in an oriental style, is located in the center of Madinat Makadi, right next to the lively Makadi Center, the vibrant heart of Makadi Bay with numerous shopping and entertainment opportunities. The sandy coral beach is about 300 to 700 meters away, depending on the room's location (swimming shoes are recommended). Hurghada Airport is about 35 kilometers away and easily accessible.

Facilities

The stylish resort has 325 rooms spread across several buildings. An inviting lobby with a reception welcomes guests. Two buffet restaurants and four à la carte restaurants offer culinary delights with Asian, Italian, and Oriental specialties, as well as grilled dishes (1 visit to one of the à la carte restaurants included). Seven bars offer a wide selection of drinks. The well-maintained and spacious garden area includes three freshwater swimming pools, two of which are heated in winter, and two children's pools (one with a sun canopy). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Fresh pool towels are provided in the rooms.

Accommodation

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms (DSU) in oriental style are approximately 35 sqm, friendly furnished, and equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, and a balcony or terrace. These rooms can also be booked with a pool view (DSP) or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP).

Superior Deluxe

The Superior Deluxe Rooms (SDX) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms and are designed for 2+1 persons. These rooms can also be booked for single occupancy (SED).

Family Room Pool View

The spacious Family Rooms (FP2) are approximately 45 sqm and have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms. In addition, they feature two extra sofa beds in a visually separated sleeping area with a curtain.

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family Rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms and additionally feature a sleeping area separated by a curtain, an extra seating area, and a kitchenette with a microwave. With a size of approximately 55 sqm, they are also more spacious.
These rooms are also available with a pool view (FPD).

Apartment 1 Bedroom

The Apartments (A12) are approximately 70 sqm and consist of a combined living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom, and a kitchenette with a microwave and a balcony or terrace. These apartments are also available with a pool view (2AB).

Apartment 2 Bedrooms

The Apartments with 2 bedrooms (A22) are approximately 100 sqm and feature two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a kitchenette with a microwave, an open living/dining area, a safe, air conditioning, a TV, a coffee/tea maker, and a balcony or terrace. These apartments are also available with a pool view (2P2).

All Inclusive

All meals are served in buffet form. Restaurant opening hours may be changed by management at any time depending on hotel occupancy or season. Early bird breakfast is available from 5 to 7 AM, breakfast from 7 to 10 AM, lunch from 12:30 to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 to 9:30 PM (in winter from 6 to 9 PM). Various snacks are available from 12 to 4 PM (in winter from 12 to 3:30 PM), as well as cakes, coffee, and tea from 3 to 5 PM, and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available all day. Soft drinks and snacks are included in the Aqua Park.

Dine Around

Dinner can optionally be enjoyed at one of the à la carte restaurants in Madinat Makadi. Dinner is only possible with prior reservation and is included once per stay.

The 18-hole par-72 championship golf course, designed by John Sanford, is located in Madinat Makadi and offers a welcoming environment for golf enthusiasts. Children's Program

For the little guests, the resort offers an international kids' club for children aged 4 to 12. Opening hours are from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 5 PM. There is a diverse program with treasure hunts, children's shows, face painting, a playground, mini disco, and a children's pool. Additionally, there is a covered children's pool and a covered playground, as well as a separate children's buffet.
The Kids Club is open 6 days a week. Upon request and subject to availability, a crib, baby monitor, high chair, baby bathtub, children's toilet seat, and child step stool will be provided.

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.

Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Temple of Luxor (1,2,3) and the Temple of Karnak (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Temple of Karnak (optional, can be booked locally).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served at the three onboard bars. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft and hot drinks. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore or oriental nights.

Cabins

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, but possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead with a non-opening window.
