Day 1:
Arrival and boarding. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You will then have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served at the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, but possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The well-known Zeytouna Beach on Zeytouna Island, with a 400 m long bathing jetty leading into the crystal-clear water, is only about 2 km away. The Steigenberger Golf Resort was extensively renovated in spring 2023 and has shone in new splendor ever since. The exclusive hotel consists of a main building and several outbuildings. The generously designed complex was built in the Nubian style and has 268 modern rooms. The hotel offers its guests an elegant reception hall with seating areas. In the extensive and beautifully designed garden complex, there are two main pools and a children's pool (one of the two main pools is heated in winter, children's pool is heated in winter) with a sun terrace and an inviting pool bar. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are available to guests free of charge at the pool and on the lagoon beach. Three restaurants and six bars cater to your culinary wishes. These include the buffet restaurant "Fairways Restaurant" with changing theme buffets and a variety of international specialties, "La Rotisserie" with international dishes, and the "Harumaki Restaurant" with Japanese cuisine (reservations required). Further facilities of the resort include an 18-hole golf course popular among golfers, as well as spa, wellness, and fitness areas.

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) are approximately 54 sqm and have the same amenities as the Superior rooms, but with lagoon, golf course, or pool view.

Double Room Premium Lagoon or Pool View

The rooms (PPD) are 54 sqm and modernly furnished. They have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, safe, and a balcony or terrace with garden view.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1PP).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (72 sqm) and also feature an integrated living area with a table, two chairs, and two sofa beds, and have garden, lagoon, golf course, or pool view.

Ali Pasha Suite (from 1 May 2026)

The suite is approx. 46-50 sqm and features a visually separated living/sleeping area, seating area, double bed (king-size), shower, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (extra charge), safe, TV, coffee/tea making facilities, and a French balcony.

Breakfast from 6:30-10:30 am buffet-style in the main restaurant "Fairways". Tea, coffee, orange juice, and juices from the juice station are included with breakfast.

Half Board

Breakfast from 6:30-10:30 am and dinner from 6:30-9:30 pm buffet-style in the main restaurant "Fairways".
Tea, coffee, orange juice, and juices from the juice station are included with breakfast. Drinks are not included with dinner.
Alternatively, dinner can also be enjoyed in one of the à la carte restaurants (reservations required, for a fee).

Optionally bookable "All Inclusive" during the period April 1 - October 31, 2025. Enjoy the selection of various dishes and drinks included in All Inclusive at different locations in the resort: Breakfast buffet-style at the Fairways Restaurant (6:30 AM - 10:30 AM). Lunch at the Fairways Restaurant (buffet, 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM) or at the Lagoon Terrace (à la carte, 12 PM - 3 PM). Dinner at the Fairways Restaurant (buffet, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM). Additionally, the following à la carte restaurants are included once a week (reservations required): "L'Rotisserie Restaurant" and "HARUMAKI Restaurant" offering Teppanyaki or Sushi menus.
Local alcoholic beverages (house wine, local beer, local spirits, and cocktails) as well as non-alcoholic beverages (soft drinks, filtered Brita water, juice, non-alcoholic beer, espresso, coffee, tea) are included by the glass or in a carafe from 10 AM to 11 PM and during meals. Additionally, the following bars are available: "Lobby Lounge" (open 24 hours), "Lagoon Terrace" (10 AM - 11 PM), "Hole 19" (3 PM - 1 AM), "Beach Bar" (10:30 AM - 5 PM).
The minibar is refilled daily with soft drinks.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with Half Board, Full Board, or All-Inclusive to have a special culinary experience in numerous participating restaurants. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12 PM on the same day) is recommended.
