Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1, 2, 3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner, and overnight on board.

Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, which are distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be spoiled by the culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small gym, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The comfortably furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), sitting area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same equipment as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no sitting area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same equipment as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a sitting area, but with a non-opening window.

The hotel "Pickalbatros Aqua Park," very popular with families, is located only approx. 700m from the hotel's own beach section. You can reach this after a short walk through the grounds of the sister hotel "Beach Albatros" (HRG013) or via a free shuttle. The hotel is separated from the "Beach Albatros" only by a street. It is approx. 10 km to Hurghada airport; you need about 20 minutes by car to get to Hurghada Downtown.

Facilities

The particularly family-friendly complex has 296 rooms, distributed between the main building and four 3-story adjacent buildings. In addition to two restaurants in the hotel (Mediterranean cuisine, Asian cuisine) and various bars, other restaurants in the sister hotels can be used. The hotel also offers a spacious lobby with a lobby bar, reception, and ATM, as well as various shops in front of the hotel and a hairdresser. In the outdoor area, there is an amphitheater, 5 swimming pools (one of which can be heated, one children's pool), an Olympic pool at the sister hotel Pickalbatros Aqua Vista (for a fee), and the Aqua Park with 9 water slides for adults. There are 16 additional slides for children at the "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu," which can also be used. Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and beach; pool towels are only for the pool. There is a beach bar at the beach, which is also included. If required, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be added.
For guests of "Pickalbatros Aqua Park," "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu," and "Pickalbatros Aqua Vista," the newly opened "Midway Street" with various theme park attractions is also available.

Breakfast from 7-10 a.m., late riser breakfast until 11 a.m., lunch buffet from 12:30-2:30 p.m., dinner in 2 restaurants (main restaurant and Asian restaurant) from 6-9 p.m. Optionally also in one of the two restaurants "Tagine" and "Soprano" at the sister hotels Pickalbatros Aqua Blu and Pickalbatros Aqua Vista.
