MS Nile Excellence incl. Excursion

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the magnificent view of the landscape along the Nile.

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.

Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Pickalbatros Aqua Park Resort

The hotel "Pickalbatros Aqua Park", very popular with families, is located only about 700 meters from the hotel's own stretch of beach. You can reach this after a short walk through the grounds of the sister hotel "Beach Albatros" (HRG013) or via a free shuttle. The hotel is separated from "Beach Albatros" only by a road. The Hurghada airport is about 10 km away, and Hurghada downtown is about a 20-minute drive.

Facilities

The particularly family-friendly complex has 296 rooms spread across the main building and four 3-story annexes. In addition to two restaurants within the hotel (Mediterranean cuisine, Asian cuisine) and various bars, other restaurants from the sister hotels can also be used. The hotel also offers a spacious lobby with a lobby bar, reception, and ATM, as well as several shops in front of the hotel and a hairdresser. The outdoor area includes an amphitheater, 5 swimming pools (one of which is heated, one children's pool), an Olympic pool at the sister hotel Pickalbatros Aqua Vista (for a fee), and the Aqua Park with 9 water slides for adults. There are 16 more slides for children at "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu", which can also be used. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach; beach towels are only available at the pool. There is a beach bar at the beach, which is also included. If needed, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked.

The double rooms (D) are friendly and tastefully furnished with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, kettle, telephone, satellite TV, safe, and a balcony or terrace, measuring approximately 32 sqm.
Also available with pool view (PD) or for single occupancy (DE/PDE). Additionally bookable as Type I rooms (DI/DEI) with a special price and limited availability.

Super Saver Room

These super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms but have a limited quota and a special price.

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7-10 a.m., late risers' breakfast until 11 a.m., lunch buffet from 12:30-2:30 p.m., dinner in 2 restaurants (main restaurant and Asian restaurant) from 6-9 p.m. Alternatively, in one of the two restaurants "Tagine" and "Soprano" at the sister hotels Pickalbatros Aqua Blu and Pickalbatros Aqua Vista. Late dinner from 10 p.m. to midnight, various snacks in the food court from 12-5 p.m. and at the beach bar from 3-4 p.m. Ice cream for children from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the respective open bars from 10 a.m. to midnight.
