Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan. Of course, the excursion packages listed below can still be booked.

Depending on the embarkation day, the route may vary.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast pack is included.
Then, back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then, the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then, the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed with a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor refreshing drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served as a buffet or set menu. Breakfast includes soft and hot drinks. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore or oriental evenings.

Suite

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, but may not have a French balcony and seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

Location

The hotel "Pickalbatros Aqua Park", very popular with families, is located only about 700m from the hotel's own beach section. You can reach this after a short walk across the grounds of the sister hotel "Beach Albatros" (HRG013) or via a free shuttle. The hotel is separated from "Beach Albatros" only by a street. Hurghada Airport is about 10 km away, and Hurghada Downtown is about a 20-minute drive.

The particularly family-friendly resort has 296 rooms spread across the main building and four 3-story annex buildings. In addition to two restaurants in the hotel (Mediterranean cuisine, Asian cuisine) and various bars, other restaurants from the sister hotels can also be used. The hotel also offers a spacious lobby with a lobby bar, reception, and ATM, as well as several shops in front of the hotel and a hairdresser. In the outdoor area, there is an amphitheater, 5 swimming pools (one of which is heated, one children's pool), an Olympic pool in the sister hotel Pickalbatros Aqua Vista (for a fee), and the Aqua Park with 9 water slides for adults. There are 16 additional slides for children at "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu", which can also be used. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and beach. Towels are only available at the pool. There is a beach bar at the beach, which is also included. If needed, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked additionally.

The double rooms (D) are brightly and tastefully furnished with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, kettle, telephone, satellite TV, safe, and a balcony or terrace, measuring approximately 32 sqm. Also available with pool view (PD) or for single occupancy (DE/PDE). Additionally bookable as Type I room (DI/DEI) with special pricing and limited availability.

Unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park (consisting of the former Jungle Aqua Park and a newly built slide park in Water Valley) can be booked for a fee at many hotels. The park offers over 100 different water attractions for young and old guests. The price of €70 for adults and €35 for children up to 11 years old (from Summer 2026: €75 for adults and €38 for children) includes daily free entry with snacks and soft drinks, as well as transfer from/to the hotel of residence.
