Location

Spend a wonderful holiday directly on the beach at the popular Beach Albatros Resort from the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. Hurghada center is about 17 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

Facilities

Bright, modern hotel lobby with chandelier, seating areas, and large window view.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached by the five elevators. The reception hall offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The outdoor area features a pool landscape with a total of 13 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and one children's pool, 11 slides for adults and 7 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

The Bungalow Garden View rooms (BG2) are approx. 24 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floor, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.

The bungalows are identical in size and amenities to the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but the view may vary (BU/B1B).

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 36m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Room Sea View rooms (DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, additionally offer a sea view, and are located in the main building.

Super Economy Room

The Super Economy Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, are located throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited quota.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.

The Suite Sea View rooms (S2M) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are more spacious with a living-bedroom and a separate bedroom.

All Inclusive

Breakfast buffet from 7 AM to 10 AM, late breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM in summer, and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in winter. Various snacks are available at all times. Afternoon coffee/tea, cake, and pastries. Ice cream for adults and children from 1 PM to 5 PM. All local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 AM to 12 AM at the respective open bars. Selected cocktails are already included in the All-Inclusive offer at no extra charge. The price of €70 for adults and €35 for children up to 11 years old includes daily free admission with snacks and soft drinks, as well as transfer to/from the hotel.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.

A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and relax with cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.
