Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning journey to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Journey to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue to Kom Ombo.

6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
8th Day:
Departure.

Amenities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, which are spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites, but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a window that cannot be opened.

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The holiday resort is located directly on the fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada, and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Amenities

This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms, which are distributed across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached via the five elevators. The reception hall offers a reception desk and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants are available ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-international, "Culina"-seafood, "Sidi Ali"-Oriental cuisine, an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), diverse bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar", which opened in summer 2023, delights with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The bungalow garden view (BG2) have a size of approx. 30 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiles, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.

The double rooms sea view (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same amenities as the bungalow garden view, additionally have a sea view, and are located in the main building.
Also bookable for single occupancy (DEM).

Super Economy Room

The super economy rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the bungalow garden view, are distributed throughout the hotel complex, and have limited availability.

Suite Sea View

The suites sea view (S2M) have the same amenities as the bungalow garden view, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a view of the garden (DD2/DD3). Optionally also bookable without a special view (DDA), with pool view, slightly smaller with approx. 24 m² (DPB), towards the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
