Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible boarding will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have selected lasts for 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful cabins, spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. This is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday under the Egyptian sun at the Arabella Azur Resort. The architecturally charming resort is located in a small, protected bay in the heart of Hurghada. The private sandy bay boasts a stunning house reef, offering excellent conditions for exploring the colorful underwater world. Steps make it easy to enter the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea. The lively city center of Hurghada, with its various shopping and entertainment options, is only about 3 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, designed in a traditional Nubian style, features 295 rooms spread across the main building and five annexes. Hotel amenities include a spacious lobby with a reception area and comfortable seating. Various shops on the premises invite you to browse. Culinary delights are offered by two buffet restaurants (international and Italian) and two à la carte restaurants ("Bordiehn's Restaurant" - reservation required, drinks extra, and "Al Raouche" - Lebanese cuisine - for a fee), several bars, and a café. An outdoor music pub completes the offerings. The extensive gardens feature two freshwater pools (one heated) and a separate, heated children's pool. Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.
