Travel information

Combination package featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-resort transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected lasts 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary

Embarkation: Thursday
The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation day.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your culinary well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small circular window.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a beautiful holiday in the Arabella Azur Resort under the Egyptian sun. The architecturally charming resort is located in a small, sheltered bay in the heart of Hurghada. The private sandy beach bay delights with a dreamily beautiful house reef, which offers the best conditions for exploring the colorful underwater world. Stairs facilitate entry into the crystal-clear water of the Red Sea. The lively city center of Hurghada with various shopping and entertainment options is only approx. 3 km away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, designed in the local Nubian style, features 295 rooms spread across the main building and five annex buildings. Hotel amenities include a spacious lobby with reception and cozy seating areas. On the premises, various shops invite you to stroll. Culinary delights are provided by two buffet restaurants (international and Italian) and two à la carte restaurants ("Bordiehn's Restaurant" - reservation required, drinks for a fee, and "Al Raouche" - Lebanese cuisine - for a fee), several bars, and a café. A music pub in the outdoor area complements the offer.
In the expansive garden area, there are two freshwater pools (one heated) as well as a separate, heated children's pool.
Sun loungers, cushions, parasols, and bath towels are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.
