Travel Information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, travel to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continued journey to Esna and visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. This is complemented by cozy lounge bars. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend a fantastic family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers plenty for the whole family and delights both young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the sandy beach, which is approximately 400 meters away and slopes gently into the sea. Here, you can be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving. If needed, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday accommodation is located in the newer part of Hurghada, on a modern promenade with oriental cafés, bars, international pubs, and small shops. The center of Hurghada with the well-known "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is about 5 km away.

Facilities

The spacious hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and designed for families, featuring 718 well-appointed rooms and suites. The Family Suites (2FS/ASF) have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 55 sqm) and equipped with a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with twin beds for the children. The master bedroom is separated by a door from the sleeping area and hallway. Wi-Fi access is free for 3 devices. Also bookable as a suite (SA).

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 sqm) have the same amenities as the Family Suites but include a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 sqm) consists of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms.

The main restaurant "Magic Flavors" offers breakfast (7-10:30 am), lunch (1-3 pm), and dinner (6-9:30 pm) in buffet style with theme nights and live cooking stations. Additionally, the following à la carte restaurants are available: The "Magic Orient Restaurant" offers oriental dinner. The "Magic Palappa Restaurant" offers Italian cuisine for breakfast (8-10:30 am), late breakfast (10:30 am-12 pm), lunch (1-4 pm), and dinner (6:30-9 pm). The "Magic Sky Restaurant" offers dinner (6:30-9 pm) on the rooftop. All mentioned restaurants are included once per week (for stays of 5 nights or more) and require reservation.
