Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Boarding will be on the next available opportunity.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Optional excursion by balloon at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Further journey from Esna.
Then, continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Drive to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The offer is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks are charged separately.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a fantastic family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights both young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the gently sloping sandy beach, approximately 400 meters away. Here, you can be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving. If needed, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday accommodation is located in the newer part of Hurghada, on a modern promenade with oriental cafes, bars, international pubs, and small shops. The center of Hurghada with the well-known "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 5 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and family-oriented, featuring 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The complex welcomes guests in a spacious lobby with a reception and lobby bar, as well as a cozy lounge with seating areas. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. In the outdoor area, there are seven swimming pools, one with an integrated children's pool covering over 2,600m², some of which are heated in winter. The hotel also boasts an aquapark with various water slides, accessible for guests over 1.20 meters tall. The highlight for all water lovers is the 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that winds through the entire complex. On the rooftop terrace, there is a relaxation pool accessible only to adults. At the pools and on the beach, guests can use sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels free of charge. For culinary delights, the "Magic Flavors" main restaurant is available, along with three different à la carte restaurants, a snack bar, and various pool and beach bars. Guests can choose from Italian, international, and oriental cuisine. There is also a "Sky Bar" on the rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy their drinks in the evening. Small souvenirs can be purchased in the shopping arcade located within the hotel.

Double Room Deluxe

Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/ASF) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, but are more spacious (approx. 55 m²) and equipped with a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with twin beds for children. The master bedroom is separated from the sleeping area and hallway by a door. Wi-Fi access is free for 3 devices. Also bookable as a Suite (SA).

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 m²) have the same amenities as the Family Suites but are more spacious and feature a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. The master bedroom has a door to the living and sleeping area with two sofa beds. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free. Also bookable as a Junior Suite (JSA).

Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 m²) consists of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior but have a limited contingent and a special price. The rooms are distributed throughout the complex and are sometimes in less favorable locations. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Double Room Standard

The Double Rooms (DA) have similar amenities to the Double Rooms Superior, are slightly smaller (approx. 24 m²), but are renovated in a modern style. The rooms are distributed throughout the complex and do not have a balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveler Rooms (YTR) are equipped like the Double Rooms Standard and are available for young adults aged 18-29.
