Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for physical well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend a fantastic family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-Star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the gently sloping sandy beach, approx. 400 meters away. Let yourself be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving. If required, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (depending on availability). Your holiday residence is located in the newer part of Hurghada on the modern promenade with oriental cafés, bars, and international pubs, as well as small shops. The city center of Hurghada with the famous "Sakalla" is approx. 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 5 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel complex is designed to be particularly child-friendly and family-friendly and features 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The complex welcomes guests in a spacious lobby with a reception and lobby bar, as well as a cozy lounge with seating. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. In the outdoor area, there are nine swimming pools, one with an integrated children's pool of over 2,600m², which can be partially heated in winter. The hotel also has an aqua park with various water slides that can be used from a height of 1.20 meters. The highlight for all water enthusiasts is the 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that flows through the entire complex. On the roof terrace, there is a relax pool that is accessible only to adults. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and bath towels are available for guests free of charge at the pools and on the beach. For physical well-being, the "Magic Flavors" main restaurant is available, in addition to three different à-la-carte restaurants as well as a snack bar and various pool and beach bars. The superior double rooms (DSU/DAS, approx. 34 m²) feature shower/WC, coffee and tea maker, minibar, safe, LED TV, minibar refilled daily with soft drinks, hairdryer, air conditioning, and a balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free of charge.

Family suite

The family suites (2FS/ASF) have the same equipment as the deluxe double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 55 m²) and equipped with a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with separate beds for the children. The master bedroom is separated from the sleeping area and hallway by a door. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free of charge. Also bookable as a suite (SA).

Family junior suites

The family junior suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 m²) have the same equipment as the family suites, featuring a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping room. The master bedroom has a door to the living and sleeping area with two sofa beds. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free of charge. Also bookable as a junior suite (JSA).

Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 m²) consists of a living/sleeping room and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same equipment features as the deluxe double rooms.

Standard double rooms

The double rooms (DA) have similar equipment features to the superior double rooms, but are slightly smaller (approx. 24 m²) and in a renovated, modern style. The rooms have no balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free of charge.

The "Magic Flavors" main restaurant offers breakfast (07:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00), and dinner (18:00-21:30) in buffet form with theme nights and live cooking stations. Additionally, the following à-la-carte restaurants are available: The "Magic Orient Restaurant" offers oriental dinner. The "Magic Palappa Restaurant" offers Italian cuisine as breakfast (08:00-10:30), late breakfast (10:30-12:00), lunch (13:00-16:00), and dinner (18:30-21:00). The "Magic Sky Restaurant" offers dinner (18:30-21:00) on the hotel's rooftop. All mentioned restaurants are included once per week (from a minimum stay of 5 nights) and must be reserved.
Furthermore, daily snacks, sandwiches, and ice cream are available at the "Magic Blue" beach restaurant from 12:00-17:00 or at the "Magic Souk" from 17:00-23:00.
