Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4. Day:
Continuing from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight on board.
5. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.

You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your physical well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa is located in the heart of El Gouna, idyllically situated on one of the many peninsulas with its own exclusive beach, nestled between the Red Sea and a picturesque lagoon. The charming town center of El Gouna, which offers an abundance of restaurants and shops, is about 1.5 km away. The picturesque Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive marina with a variety of restaurants and shopping options, can be reached after approx. 3.5 km. The resort is located about 27 km north of the center of Hurghada and approx. 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

Facilities

The spacious hotel complex in Mediterranean style comprises a total of 420 rooms, which are harmoniously distributed over seven different buildings. The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished lobby welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating; safes are available there free of charge. Culinary highlights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and two à-la-carte restaurants, which offer an exquisite selection of seafood and Italian specialties.
