Location

The spectacular beachfront resort is located directly on the hotel's own 800 m long sandy beach. The offshore and intact coral reef offers the best conditions for a breathtaking snorkeling or diving experience. The beach is one of the favorite spots for many kite/windsurfers and sailors, as the steady wind provides perfect conditions. The surroundings are thus ideal for experiencing the many facets of the Red Sea. The adjacent neighboring hotel houses the 18-hole CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE, designed by Gary Player. The center of Hurghada, with its downtown area, beautiful shops, and further entertainment options, is approximately 60 km away. Hurghada International Airport is approximately 45 km away.

The Sheraton Soma Bay Resort emphasizes its special and very luxurious ambiance with its very distinctive pharaonic-style architecture. The sprawling complex features 326 rooms spread across a main building and several annexes. The spacious reception area includes a lobby and comfortable seating. In addition to the main restaurant "L'Abydos Brasserie," offering buffet-style dining, there is an Italian à la carte restaurant "L'Emporio" (for a fee) and a "Sea view Restaurant" (lunch service only), located between the pool and the beach. The Solar Bay Bar complements the offerings, delighting guests with cocktails and dreamlike sunsets on the terrace. Besides the Solar Bay Bar, the resort has three other bars. Furthermore, the resort offers two shops for browsing, a hairdresser, and an internet corner (for a fee). The generously landscaped gardens feature three large swimming pools (heated in winter) with a pool bar and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are included at the pool and on the beach. The hotel also has an Internet café and two shops.
In addition, guests of the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort receive complimentary access to the Soma Splash Aquapark (10 am-5 pm) next to the hotel, which offers plenty of water fun for all ages.

The Double Rooms (D) are 34-35 m² and are furnished in a friendly and bright style. They feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning, bathrobes, coffee/tea maker, and a balcony or terrace.

The Double Rooms with Side Sea View (DMS) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but feature a side sea view.

Beachfront Suite

The Beachfront Suite (F2W) has the same amenities as the Double Room but is larger (approx. 80 m²) and consists of a bedroom with a king-size bed, a separate living room, and a bathroom. The rooms have a terrace or a large balcony and are located in the first row to the beach.

Deluxe Beachfront

The Deluxe Beachfront rooms (BSD) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 85 m²) and consist of a bedroom, a separate living area with a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The rooms have a terrace or balcony and are located in the first row to the beach.

With the meal plan "as per program", guests receive Half Board as a basic meal plan and access to the Sheraton Club Lounge (open from 6:30 AM to 10 PM). This includes the following amenities:
