Location

The spectacular beach resort is located directly on the hotel's own 800 m long sandy beach. The pristine coral reef located just offshore provides the perfect conditions for a breathtaking snorkelling or diving experience. The beach is a favourite for many kite/windsurfers and sailors, as the constant wind offers perfect conditions. The 18-hole CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE, designed by Gary Player, is located at the adjacent neighbouring hotel. The centre of Hurghada, with its downtown area, beautiful shops and other entertainment options, is approximately 60 km away. Hurghada International Airport is approximately 45 km away.

The Sheraton Soma Bay Resort highlights its special and highly luxurious ambience with its unique pharaonic-style architecture. The expansive complex has 326 rooms distributed across a main building and several annexe buildings. The spacious lobby features a reception area and comfortable seating. In addition to the main restaurant "Bistro24", culinary needs are met by the Italian à-la-carte restaurant "L'Emporio" (for a fee), the "More Café" (by reservation), and a "Sea View Restaurant" (lunch service only) located between the pool and the beach. Guests can find a selection of various drinks at one of the three bars. Furthermore, the resort offers three different shops for guests to browse. The generously landscaped gardens feature three large swimming pools (heatable in winter) with a pool bar and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, pool towels, and parasols are included by the pool and at the beach.
Additionally, guests of the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort receive free access to the Soma Splash Aqua Park (10 am – 5 pm) next to the hotel, which provides plenty of water fun for young and old alike.

Double room

The double rooms are 34-35 m² and are brightly and warmly furnished. They feature a bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, high-quality toiletries, telephone, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), minibar, safe, air conditioning, bathrobes, slippers (on request), coffee/tea-making facilities, and a balcony or terrace.
