Location

The dreamlike complex of the Golden Beach Resort is located between Hurghada and El Gouna, directly on the coast of the Red Sea. The wide, fine sandy beach borders the hotel complex directly and offers a magnificent view of the turquoise blue water (swimming shoes recommended). The shallow bay offers swimming fun for young and old. A long bathing jetty leads out into deeper waters. The center of Hurghada is about 10 km away. The center of El Gouna can be reached after about 15 km. The airport is about 20 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel consists of a main building and several annexes, which house a total of 442 comfortably furnished rooms. The hotel amenities include a spacious lobby with a reception. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant with a varied buffet and four à la carte restaurants offering Oriental, Italian, and Asian specialties, as well as fish. The diverse culinary offerings are complemented by a colorful selection of bars and a café. The beautiful outdoor area is the heart of the resort. Nestled in a lush palm garden lies the attractive pool landscape with a long artificial river. A total of six pools and a water park with slides ensure plenty of water fun and relaxation. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Double Room (D)

The double rooms (28 sqm) are equipped with a bath and shower/WC, air conditioning/heating, TV, telephone, free safe, mini-fridge, and a small balcony or terrace.

Super Saver Room (SSZ)

The saver rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, are slightly smaller (approx. 16-24 sqm), and do not have a balcony or terrace, with garden view.

Double Room Sea View (DM)

Double rooms with sea view (24 sqm) have the same amenities as the double rooms. The rooms have a balcony with sea view and are located in the main building.

Family Room (DF2)

The family rooms are located in the main building, facing the land side, and are larger (37 sqm) than the double rooms. No balcony or terrace, land view.

Family Room Type B (3FB)

Family rooms Type B have two rooms with a connecting door (56 sqm), balcony or terrace with pool or garden view in the annexes. Please note that occupancy with 5 people may be cramped in the room.

Double Room Premium Sea Side (PSM)

The double rooms sea side are equipped like the double rooms, but larger (approx. 34 sqm). They offer 2 single beds (double bed on request and subject to availability) and 2 sofa beds. Special amenities include daily replenishment of the mini-bar with 2x water, 2 soft drinks, and 2x beer. Also included is 1x 15-minute neck-shoulder massage (per adult), 5 items of laundry, and 1x Teppanyaki menu at the Bonsai Restaurant free of charge.

Premium Family Room (HRGA24 from Summer 2026)

In addition to the king-size bed, the Premium Family Room offers a sofa bed, as well as air conditioning/heating, TV, and Wi-Fi. Further amenities are similar to the double rooms (approx. 34 sqm, PF2).

Dinner from 6 PM to 9 PM in the main restaurant "The Bouquet" or in one of the à la carte restaurants (reservation required).

Kite surf center, windsurfing, diving school, water sports (by local providers).
Billiards, as well as rental of tennis rackets with balls and floodlighting in the evening.
