Location

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with returning guests, is located directly on Hurghada's beachfront, on one of the region's most popular coastlines. The generously designed complex is situated on a 400-meter private sandy beach with turquoise waters. Together with its two sister Steigenberger hotels, the resort is directly on the "ALDAU Art Promenade" featuring various shops, restaurants, and the Elemtents Club & Lounge. Hurghada's vibrant town center, the well-known "Sakalla," is about 10 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 6 km away.

The generously designed hotel features over 400 modern suites, most of which offer direct sea views. You can expect a luxurious and open-plan reception area with seating and two lobby bars. The outdoor area boasts an extensive pool landscape covering over 5,000m³ with a "Lazy River" stretching over 400 meters through the complex, a seawater pool (heated), and a "Jacuzzi Island" (for guests aged 16 and above). Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. A selection of five different bars and seven diverse restaurants caters to your culinary desires. Superior Suite Sea View

The Superior Suites (DM2/DAM approx. 50 sqm) offer sea views. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a separate shower/WC, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, RFID door lock, minibar (with daily refill of water and soft drinks), limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, espresso machine, coffee and tea station with daily refill (both free of charge), telephone, safe, satellite TV (large flatscreen), and a balcony with a chaise lounge. Also available as a double room for single occupancy (DM1).

Superior Suite Sea View 4th Floor

The schauinsland-reisen original rooms (DLM) have the same amenities as the Superior Suite Sea View and are guaranteed to be on the 4th floor, offering a breathtaking sea view. Also available on the 5th floor (DDM).

Family Suite Sea View

The Family Suites (F2M/FA2) have the same amenities as the Superior Suites but are larger (approx. 55 sqm) and include a sofa bed, limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, and a sea view.

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites (J2M, approx. 74 sqm) consist of one large room, have a sea view, and feature the following amenities: a comfortable lounge area with a chaise lounge or armchairs, safe, marble flooring, a dressing area, and a balcony with sun loungers. Additionally, when booking a Junior Suite, the following amenities are included: Personal check-in/out, daily complimentary refill of the minibar with local soft drinks, free access to the spa area (reservation required), unlimited Wi-Fi (3 devices per room).

Elite Suite

The Elite Suites (EL2, ELA) have the same amenities as the Superior Suites but also include: Personal check-in/out and late check-out until 4 PM (subject to availability), daily complimentary refill of the minibar with local soft drinks, free access to the spa area (reservation required), limited Wi-Fi (2 devices per room). The rooms face the golf course and have sea views.

The View Suite

The View Suite (S2) is approx. 115 sqm and is equipped with an open-plan bathroom with a shower and whirlpool, a separate WC, a guest WC, RFID door lock, an open-plan living area, a bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, an espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. The suites have sea views. These rooms are adults-only.

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2DS) consist of one large room, are approx. 59 sqm, and additionally feature a dining table, dressing area, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, an espresso machine, and a balcony with sun loungers and sea view.

Deluxe Suite

The Deluxe Suites (SDM) are approx. 142 sqm and feature a bedroom and a separate living area. Additionally, the Deluxe Suites have a dressing area and two balconies, each with a table and two chairs, offering a beautiful view of the Red Sea. Standard Suite

The Standard Suites (SSZ) offer the same amenities as the Superior Suites but have a limited quota and no sea view.

Enjoy your breakfast (7 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (1 PM - 4 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 10 PM in summer and 6 PM - 10 PM in winter) as a buffet, with changing theme buffets in the evening, at the main restaurant "Tamarind". Alternatively, for lunch, the "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" offers a lunch menu from 1 PM to 5 PM, or the "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch buffet from 12 PM to 3 PM and a lunch menu from 1 PM to 4 PM. For dinner, in addition to the main restaurant, the following seven à la carte restaurants offer a selection of delicacies once a week (advance reservation required): "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" with Mediterranean cuisine, "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with Oriental cuisine, "Alex Beach Club and Restaurant-Adults Only" with modern fusion cuisine, 3 restaurants in "S-Square" on the ALDAU Art Promenade with, for example, Asian cuisine. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served around the clock at the respective open bar. The five bars include, among others, "Karibu Lobby Lounge" with a selection of snacks, sandwiches, and cakes, "Ukumbi Lobby Bar," "Bwala Pool Bar," "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar," and "Dewan Café." On arrival, a fruit platter awaits you in your room, and your minibar is refilled daily with local soft drinks. The aquapark at the sister hotel "Steigenberger Aqua Magic" can be used from 10 AM to 5 PM (from summer 2025 from 9 AM to 5 PM). Food and drinks are included there.

As part of Ultra All Inclusive, you will receive personalized VIP check-in and a personal butler service throughout your entire stay. Additionally, you will be offered a selection of premium spirits, including imported international beverages. Furthermore, an extended gourmet option of delicious dishes in the à la carte restaurants for lunch and dinner is included, with unlimited visits and individual reservations made by the butler service. Your minibar will be replenished daily with soft drinks and beer, and you will also receive a 20-minute relaxation massage at Pure Spa once per stay. The entry visa for all travel services booked with schauinsland-reisen is not included in the travel price. Guests have the option to organize the visa themselves or purchase it from the schauinsland-reisen tour guide upon arrival for €30 (from March 1, 2026, €35) per person.
