The exclusive Steigenberger Golf Resort is situated on a peninsula, surrounded by a magnificent lagoon with its own lagoon beach and a spacious 18-hole golf course. The turquoise lagoon landscape invites you to relax and unwind. The well-known Zeytouna Beach on Zeytouna Island, featuring a 400-meter-long bathing jetty leading into crystal-clear waters, is just about 2 km away. The center of El Gouna, with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, perfect for strolling and lingering, is approximately 1 km away. The center of Hurghada is about 30 km away, and Hurghada Airport is approximately 35 km away.

The Steigenberger Golf Resort was comprehensively renovated in spring 2023 and has shone in a new splendor ever since. The exclusive hotel consists of a main building and several annexes. The spacious complex was built in Nubian style and features 268 modern rooms. The hotel offers its guests an elegant lobby with a reception and seating areas. In the extensive and beautifully landscaped garden area, there are two main pools and a children's pool (one of the main pools is heated in winter, children's pool heated in winter) with a sun terrace and an inviting pool bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available to guests free of charge at the pool and on the lagoon beach. Three restaurants and six bars cater to your culinary desires. These include the buffet restaurant "Fairways Restaurant" with rotating theme buffets and a variety of international specialties, "La Rotisserie" with international dishes, and "Harumaki Restaurant" with Japanese cuisine (reservations required). Further facilities of the resort include an 18-hole golf course popular among golfers, as well as a spa, wellness, and fitness area.

Double Room Deluxe

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) are approximately 54 sqm and have the same amenities as the Superior rooms, but with lagoon, golf course, or pool view.

Premium Double Room with Lagoon or Pool View

The rooms (PPD) are 54 sqm and modernly furnished. They feature a bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, free Wi-Fi, Smart TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, safe, and a balcony or terrace with garden view.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1PP).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (72 sqm) and additionally feature an integrated living area with a table, two chairs, and two sofa beds, and have garden, lagoon, golf course, or pool views.

Ali Pasha Suite (from May 1, 2026)

The suite is approx. 46-50 sqm and features a visually separated living/sleeping area, seating area, king-size bed, shower, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), safe, TV, coffee/tea facilities, and a French balcony.

Breakfast

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM as a buffet in the main restaurant "Fairways". Tea, coffee, orange juice, and juices from the juice station are included with breakfast.

Half Board

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM as a buffet in the main restaurant "Fairways".
Tea, coffee, orange juice, and juices from the juice station are included with breakfast. Drinks are not included with dinner.
Alternatively, dinner can be taken in one of the à la carte restaurants (reservations required, for a fee).
Dine Around in El Gouna is included.
A charge will be applied locally for meals. Drinks are subject to a charge.

All Inclusive

Optional "All Inclusive" can be booked for the period of April 1st - October 31st, 2025. Enjoy a selection of various dishes and drinks included in the All Inclusive package at different locations within the resort: Breakfast buffet at Fairways Restaurant (6:30 AM - 10:30 AM). Lunch at Fairways Restaurant (buffet, 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM) or at Lagoon Terrace (à la carte, 12 PM - 3 PM). Dinner at Fairways Restaurant (buffet, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM). Additionally, the following à la carte restaurants are included once a week (reservations required): "L'Rotisserie Restaurant" and "HARUMAKI Restaurant" offering Teppanyaki or Sushi menus.
Local alcoholic beverages (house wine, local beer, local spirits, and cocktails) as well as non-alcoholic beverages (soft drinks, filtered Brita water, juice, non-alcoholic beer, espresso, coffee, tea) are included from 10 AM to 11 PM and during meals, served by the glass or in a carafe. Additionally, the following bars are available: "Lobby Lounge" (open 24 hours), "Lagoon Terrace" (10 AM - 11 PM), "Hole 19" (3 PM - 1 AM), "Beach Bar" (10:30 AM - 5 PM).
The minibar is refilled daily with soft drinks.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine Around program offers guests on Half Board, Full Board, or All-Inclusive a special culinary experience in numerous participating restaurants. Guests can dine in selected restaurants of other hotels without additional costs for the food (excluding drinks).
Depending on the length of your stay, guests can use the Dine Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for stays of five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for stays of eight nights or more. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12 PM on the same day) is recommended.

Sports included

Volleyball, darts, and boccia, fitness studio (open from 9 AM to 7 PM). Offerings may vary depending on occupancy.

Sports for a fee

18-hole championship golf course with driving range located on the hotel grounds. Green fees can be booked on-site, subject to season. Offers and prices determined by the Golf Club (equipment can be rented from local providers). Snorkeling, diving, kitesurfing, bicycle rental. Tennis at the El Gouna Tennis Club (floodlights and equipment for a fee).
Various water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving, banana boat rides at the beach, approximately a 5-minute drive away.
