Location

The 5-star resort of the renowned Mövenpick hotel chain is located in a quiet area directly on the coast of the Red Sea, characterized by golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear water. The elegant complex is situated right on the gently sloping sandy beach of Soma Bay. The Soma Bay reef delights guests with a vibrant underwater world and is perfect for snorkeling and diving. A long jetty provides easy access to the deeper water beyond the reef and offers a stunning view over the turquoise-blue sea. The airport and the center of Hurghada are located approximately 50 km north of the resort.

Facilities

The 418 rooms and suites of the Mövenpick Resort Soma Bay, decorated in shades of azure and cream, enchant guests with their unique flair. The stylish entrance hall welcomes guests with a blend of elegance and a relaxing atmosphere, and is equipped with a reception and seating areas. Dining options include a main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace, an Italian à-la-carte restaurant, and an oriental outdoor à-la-carte restaurant, designed in authentic Arabic style. In the restaurants, guests are pampered with fresh specialties and an extra portion of culinary Mövenpick creativity. For light bites and refreshments, there is a pool bar, a beach bar, and a lobby bar available (an adults-only quiet zone is available from age 18; families with children receive service on the outdoor terrace). The resort also features several shops, including a souvenir shop, a mini-market, and a boutique. Nestled in a well-maintained garden landscape, the spacious pool area with a sun terrace and pool bar stretches through the heart of the complex.
For extra water fun, the newly built "Splash Mania" aquapark features various splash pools and water slides for all ages.

Double room (D)

The luxurious rooms are approx. 30 m² and are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, LCD satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), vanity mirror, coffee/tea maker (daily refill, incl. 1.5-liter bottle of water), safe, and individually adjustable air conditioning. Some rooms have a French balcony; otherwise, there is no balcony or terrace.

The Deluxe rooms with sea view are equipped like the Double rooms Deluxe but feature a sea view.
Also available for single use (DM1).

Family room (DF2)

The family rooms are equipped like the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 60 m²) with additional sofa beds and a large balcony. Mountain view.
Please note that for an occupancy of two adults and three children, the room may feel cramped.
