Location

The 5-star resort of the renowned Mövenpick hotel chain is located in a quiet area directly on the coast of the Red Sea with golden beaches and crystal-clear water. The chic complex is located directly on the gently sloping sandy beach of Soma Bay. The Soma Bay reef impresses with its colorful underwater world and invites you to snorkel and dive. A long bathing jetty allows easy access to the deeper water behind the reef and offers a fantastic view over the turquoise blue water. The airport and the center of Hurghada are approx. 50 km north of the resort.

Facilities

The 418 rooms and suites of the Mövenpick Resort Soma Bay, decorated in azure blue and cream, enchant guests with their special flair. The stylishly furnished entrance hall welcomes guests with a blend of elegance and a feel-good atmosphere and is equipped with a reception and seating areas. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace, as well as an Italian à la carte restaurant and an oriental outdoor à la carte restaurant, which is designed in an Arabic style. In the restaurants, guests are spoiled with fresh specialties and an extra portion of culinary Mövenpick creativity. In addition, a pool bar, a beach bar, and a lobby bar (adults-only area from 18 years; families with children will be served on the outdoor terrace) are available for snacks and refreshments. The resort also has several shops, including a souvenir shop, a mini-market, and a boutique. Nestled in a well-kept garden landscape, the generously designed pool area with sun terrace and pool bar extends in the heart of the complex.
The newly built "Splash Mania" water park with various splash pools and water slides for all ages ensures special water fun.

Double Room (D)

The luxurious rooms are approx. 30 m² in size and equipped with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, LCD satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), cosmetic mirror, coffee/tea making facilities (refilled daily, incl. 1.5-liter bottle of water), safe, and individually adjustable air conditioning. Some rooms have a French balcony, otherwise no balcony or terrace.

Super Saver Room (SSZ)

The saver rooms are equipped like the double rooms but have a special price and limited availability.

The deluxe rooms with sea view are equipped like the deluxe double rooms but have a sea view.

Family Room (DF2)

The family rooms are equipped like the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 60 m²) with additional sofa beds and a large balcony. Mountain view.
Please note that a room for two adults and three children can be cramped.
